What is the Colorado Retail Delivery Fee?

A new retail delivery fee is taking effect on July 1, 2024, for all Colorado residents. We will have to collect a $0.29 fee for every order that includes taxable goods to be delivered to a Colorado address.  The delivery fee doesn’t apply to orders of nontaxable goods, including wholesale orders, so long as the property delivered is exempt from the state sales tax.  If an order includes both taxable and exempt goods, the delivery fee will apply. The delivery fee will be listed separately on the invoice.  The fee is imposed on all qualifying orders, even when shipping is free, and the delivery fee is nonrefundable.
